Kerala Bread Omelette

Bread Omelette is one of the tastiest breakfast dish that you can prepare in no time. Very filling as well as nutritious, Bread Omelette can be included in your daily breakfast menu. During travels and outings too, you can count on Bread Omelette which can be easily packed. We have included a very simple version of Bread Omelette, well illustrated in short simple steps. Beginners as well as bachelors can give a bold try. Bread slices are dipped in a tasty egg mixture and fried to a golden brown color in a hot tawa on both sides. Served with sweet and spicy green chutney or tomato sauce, Bread Omelette makes a great filling dish. Enjoy the dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 nos Eggs
  • 1 no Onion thinly chopped
  • 2 nos Green chillies chopped
  • ½ tsp Pepper powder
  • 3 tsp Coriander leaves chopped
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Put the chopped onion, green chillies, salt, chopped coriander leaves and pepper powder in a bowl.
  • Break the eggs and add all the above ingredients into it.
  • Mix well.
  • Cut bread slices in triangle shape.
  • Heat 2 tsp oil in a tawa.
  • Dip the bread pieces into the egg mixture one by one and arrange in the hot tawa.
  • Fry both side till lightly golden colour.
  • Remove into a serving plate and serve with tomato sauce or sweet and spicy chutney.
