Naadan Kappa (tapioca) Mathi (sardines) Puzhukku (

Ingredients
  

  • 750 g, Tapioca
  • 200 g Unnikaambu
  • 2 Raw banana
  • 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 Sardines
  • 3/4 pc, Coconut
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 3 Shallots
  • 3 pods Garlic
  • 2 Green chilly

Instructions
 

  • Cook the raw banana, unnikaambu, sardines, turmeric powder, chilly powder, salt and water as required in a pressure cooker.
  • Grind the coconut, cumin seeds, shallots, garlic and green chilly together to make a smooth paste.
  • Mix in the tapioca and grinded coconut with the cooked banana-sardine curry. Mash it with a wooden spoon thoroughly.
  • Cook it again for 5-10 minutes.
  • Serve it for dinner along with kanji.
