Pineapple Pachadi - Sadya Special
Boiled pineapple pieces are cooked with coconut mixture and curd

- 1 cup Pineapple cleaned and chopped
- 1 cup Curd
- 1/2 cup Coconut grated
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- ½ tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
- 1 stem Curry leaves
- 5 nos Green chilly or as required
- Salt As reqd
For preparing pineapple pachadi, first boil the chopped pineapple pieces along with turmeric powder, salt and little water for a few minutes.
Make a paste of coconut, green chilly, cumin seeds and mustard seeds.
Add this paste and curd into the boiled pineapple pieces. If required, add 1-2 tsp sugar also into this mix.
Boil it for further 5 minutes and remove it from the stove. Decorate the dish with curry leaves and pineapple pieces as shown in the picture below.
Pineapple pachadi can be served as a tasty side dish for lunch/dinner.
