Bread Idly

Crushed bread is mixed with semolina, curd and other ingredients to make a smooth batter which is finally steamed as idlis

Ingredients
  

  • 8 nos Bread slices
  • 1 ½ Semolina
  • ½ cup Curd
  • ½ of Onion chopped
  • 1 no Green chillies chopped
  • 1 no Capsicum chopped
  • ½ cup Carrot grated
  • Salt As reqd
  • Water As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing bread idly, first powder the bread slices in mixer. Keep this aside.2)Mix semolina, curd and salt. Keep it for 15 minutes.3)After 15 minutes, mix capsicum, carrot, green chillies, onion, bread and semolina mixture.4)Add little water to make a thick batter.
  • Pour this mixture in a idly mould and steam cook for 8 minutes in idly steamer.6)Delicious bread idlies are ready.Serve hot with chutney.
