Potato Curry

Potato Curry is most favourite side dish loved by people of all ages. This curry prepared with coconut milk gives some unique taste and flavour. This makes an amazing combo with chappathi, poori, idiyappam etc.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 nos Potato chopped
  • 1 no Onion chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 5 nos Green chillies chopped
  • 1/2 cup Thick coconut milk
  • Salt As reqd
  • Mustard seeds Few
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Curry leaves Few

Instructions
 

  • Pressure cook potato, green chillies and onion with 1/2 cup water(2 whistles). 2)Open the lid and boil it for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Meanwhile smash half of the potato with the back of a spoon and leave the remaining intact. Add the coconut milk and required salt.
  • Heat some oil in a pan and splutter some mustard seeds and add curry leaves. Pour the seasoning into the curry.
