Simple Kadum Payasam

Ingredients
  

  • 250 g Brown rice Unakkalari
  • 50 g Ghee
  • 1/2 kg Jaggery sharkara as per sweetness preferred
  • 1/4 of one Dry coconut chopped
  • 5 nos Ripe Banana chopped
  • 3 nos Cardamom crushed, Elakka

Instructions
 

  • For preparing simple kadum payasam, first boil 3 cups of water and add rice in it.
  • When water starts to evaporate, add jaggery and ghee. Mix it well.
  • Add chopped banana and mix well.
  • When it thickens, remove from flame.
  • Add coconut chopped and crushed cardamom.
  • Simple kadum payasam is ready.
