Kerala Mutton Pepper Fry

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Mutton
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 6 cloves Garlic
  • 2 nos Onion Sliced
  • 2 nos Tomato Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Pepper powder
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri Chilly powder
  • 2 nos. Cinnamon
  • 2 nos. Cardamom
  • 3 nos Cloves
  • 4 nos Green chillies
  • 2 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Coriander leaves Few
  • Coconut oil As reqd
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing kerala mutton pepper fry, crush green chillies, ginger and garlic.
  • Mix it with mutton along vinegar, lime juice, kashmiri chilly powder, salt and little pepper.
  • Keep it for 1 hour.
  • Pressure cook the mutton and evaporate the water completely.
  • Heat coconut oil in a pan, add cinnamon, cloves and cardamom.
  • Add onion and fry it.
  • Add tomato slices and fry again.
  • Add coriander powder, turmeric and little salt.
  • When mutton is done, add the mutton into gravy. Add little water.
  • Sprinkle little pepper and coriander powder at last.
  • Deep fry the mutton adding little oil and serve hot.
  • Kerala mutton pepper fry is ready.
