Coconut Grilled Prawns Kerala Style

Ingredients
  

  • 250 g Prawns
  • 5 nos Shallots kunjulli
  • 1/2 cup Coconut grated
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • 4 nos Red dry chillies
  • 2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing coconut grilled prawns, clean and de-vein prawns(can retain head).
  • Marinate with ginger-garlic paste.
  • Heat very little oil in pan, fry coconut, dry chillies, coriander, chilly powder and turmeric till light brown.
  • Grind the paste and marinate with prawns.
  • Add little salt.
  • Keep aside for 1 hour.
  • Heat oil in pan, fry prawns in it. Coconut grilled prawns are ready.
