Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Coconut chopped
  • 5 nos Green chillies
  • 1/4 cup Pottu kadalai
  • pinch Asafoetida
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp Urad dal
  • 1 tbsp Coconut oil
  • 1 Red chilli
  • As required Salt

Instructions
 

  • For preparing pottu kadala(roasted gram) chutney, grind grated coconut with green chillies and pottu kadala.
  • Add salt and asafoetida and mix well.
  • Fry mustard seeds, urud dal and red chillies in coconut oil and add to the mixture.
  • Pottu kadala chutney is ready.
