Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Broken wheat
  • 1 tbsp Coconut grated
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Aniseed Saumph
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom powdered, Elakka
  • 1/4 cup Ghee
  • 1 tbsp Almonds silvered

Instructions
 

  • For preparing lapsi, melt ghee in a pan and fry the broken wheat till golden brown.
  • Add 1 cup of boiling water and cook over low flame till the mixture thickens.
  • Stir in aniseed, cardamom powder, coconut and sugar. Cook till thick.
  • Garnish with almonds.
  • Lapsi is ready.
