Ingredients
  

  • 100 g Sultana
  • 100 g Black currents
  • 100 g Raisins
  • 100 g Figs
  • 100 g Dates
  • 100 g Cashew nut
  • 100 g Almond
  • 100 g Apricot
  • 10 g Pista
  • 100 g Dry cherry
  • 30 g Candied orange peel
  • 30 g Candied ginger peel
  • 80 g Mango jam
  • 20 g Masala powder
  • 50 g Liquid glucose
  • 35 ml Caramel colour
  • 2 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 500 g All purpose flour Maida
  • 5 g Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Orange essence
  • 500 g Butter
  • 10 nos Egg
  • 500 g Sugar powdered
  • Rum As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing mixed fruit cakes, mix the ingredients sultana, black currents, raisins, Figs, dates, cashew nut, almond, apricot, pista, dry cherry, candied orange peel, candied ginger peel, mango jam, masala powder and soak it in rum for 1 month
  • Take it out and mix it with butter and sugar.
  • Add eggs and the remaining ingredients: liquid glucose, orange essence, vanilla essence, flour, baking powder and caramel color.
  • Pour the mixture into a baking tray.
  • Bake it in oven for 40 minutes.
  • Mixed dry fruits cake is ready.
