Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Palak chopped
  • 1 cup Dal soaked in water, Tumara parippu
  • 2 nos Onion chopped
  • 2 nos Tomato chopped
  • 3 nos Green chillies slit
  • 2 nos Cinnamon karugapatta
  • 1 no Bay leaves
  • 3 nos Cloves Grambu
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 4 cloves Garlic chopped
  • Coriander leaves Few
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing palak dal curry, heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add cinnamon, cloves, bay leaves, green chillies, garlic, onion, turmeric, cumin seeds, coriander powder, salt and cumin powder.
  • Add dal, salt and required water. Cook it.
  • When done, remove the lid and add palak. Cook for a while till palak is done.
  • Add the tomato pieces and cook till the tomato is soft.
  • Decorate with coriander leaves. Palak dal curry is ready.
