Mushroom Pakkavada

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup Gram flour Kadala mavu
  • 1 tbsp All purpose flour Maida
  • 1 tbsp Rice flour
  • 1 tbsp Pepper powder
  • 1 pinch Soda powder Appakaaram
  • 4 nos Green chillies chopped
  • 1 piece Ginger chopped
  • 1 tbsp Curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped
  • Oil As reqd
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing mushroom pakkavada, take a bowl, add gram flour, maida, rice flour, pepper powder, salt and mix well adding some water. Keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a vessel. Saute mushrooms, ginger, green chillies, coriander leaves and curry leaves. Remove it from the flame.
  • Put this mixture to the above flour mixture and mix well.
  • Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Spoon the mixture one by one in oil and fry till crispy.
  • Mushroom pakkavada is ready. Serve hot with ketchup.
