Mushroom Pakkavada
Mushroom mixed with different types of flour and ingredients

- 1 cup Mushrooms sliced
- 1 cup Gram flour Kadala mavu
- 1 tbsp All purpose flour Maida
- 1 tbsp Rice flour
- 1 tbsp Pepper powder
- 1 pinch Soda powder Appakaaram
- 4 nos Green chillies chopped
- 1 piece Ginger chopped
- 1 tbsp Curry leaves
- 1 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped
- Oil As reqd
- Salt As reqd
For preparing mushroom pakkavada, take a bowl, add gram flour, maida, rice flour, pepper powder, salt and mix well adding some water. Keep it aside.
Heat oil in a vessel. Saute mushrooms, ginger, green chillies, coriander leaves and curry leaves. Remove it from the flame.
Put this mixture to the above flour mixture and mix well.
Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Spoon the mixture one by one in oil and fry till crispy.
Mushroom pakkavada is ready. Serve hot with ketchup.
