For preparing seasoned dried green peas, clean, wash and soak green peas overnight.
Pressure cook the green peas along with turmeric powder till very soft.
Heat oil in a vessel and splutter mustard seeds.
Add broken red chillies and asafoetida powder.
When brown, add green chillies and curry leaves.
Fry for a minute and add boiled green peas and salt.
Cook on a low flame till dry. Add coconut powder and mix well.
Before serving, add the juice of 2 lemons and mix well.
Seasoned dried green peas is ready. Serve hot as a side dish with rice or chapatti
