Aval With Ripe Banana

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Aval cleaned well, Beaten rice
  • 1 no Ripe banana big one sliced into thin slices
  • 1/2 cup Jaggery scrapped, Sharkara
  • Salt A pinch
  • 3 tsp Ghee

Instructions
 

  • For preparing aval with ripe banana, take a pan and heat ghee. Then add beaten rice and stir for a few minutes. Let it get dry.
  • Take it from the stove once it gets crispy.
  • In another pan melt the jaggery.
  • Put the sliced banana pieces in it.
  • Cook this in low heat for a minute.
  • Then add the beaten rice and stir quickly.
  • Aval with ripe banana, ideal for breakfast, is ready. Serve hot.
  • Tip: You can substitute jaggery with sugar if you want. You will need about 4-5 tbsp for that. You can add nuts and any dry fruits if you want along with this. It is a very healthy breakfast recipe, especially for children.
