Ladies Finger Curry

Ingredients
  

  • 10 nos Ladies finger Vendakka
  • 1 nos Onion
  • 4 nos Green chillies
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • 1 no Tomato cubed
  • Curry leaves Few
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • Coconut Milk (Dissolve 4 tbsp coconut milk powder in 1 teacup of hot water)
  • Oil As reqd
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • In a wok heat oil and splutter mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Saute onions till translucent and add green chillies. Add required salt. :- Do not over fry the onions.
  • Add ladies finger and sautT for a few minutes.
  • Add coconut milk and turmeric powder.
  • Add tomato and allow to boil. Do not add any water. Check salt and add more if required.
  • Cover and cook for 3 minutes.
  • Add curry leaves. Cover and cook for another 2 minutes. Serve hot with rice.
