Vegetable Pizza

Pizza base topped with sauce, grated cheese and other veggies and finally baked.

Ingredients
  

For preparing pizza base:

  • 250 g All purpose flour Maida
  • 1/4 tsp Sugar
  • 3/4 tsp Dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup Luke warm water
  • 1 tsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

For pizza toppings:

  • Vegetables sliced, Capsicum, cherry tomatoes, onion, mushroom etc
  • Tomato sauce As reqd
  • Mozzarella cheese As reqd, grated
  • Red chilly flakes As reqd
  • Dried oregano As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing vegetable pizza, first take a bowl and mix together yeast, 3 tsp lukewarm water, sugar and salt.
  • Stir the yeast mixture well and keep aside covered for 10 minutes.
  • Take a large bowl and mix together maida, yeast mixture, olive oil and mix well.
  • Add remaining lukewarm water to the flour mixture and knead well to make a smooth dough.
  • Cover the dough and keep aside for 2 hours till it raises to double the measure.
  • Now punch down the dough and knead again for 5 minutes.
  • Now we are entering the final stage of our vegetable pizza preparation. Grease a baking tray with olive oil and keep aside.
  • Pluck off a small portion from the dough and using a rolling pin, roll out into a circle of medium thickness.
  • Now, place the pizza base in the greased baking tray.
  • Spread tomato sauce over the pizza base.
  • Then spread grated cheese and arrange the sliced vegetables over the cheese.
  • Sprinkle oregano and chilly flakes on top.
  • In a preheated oven at 200 degree C, bake yummy vegetable pizza for 20 minutes till cheese melts and edges become golden in color.
  • Serve vegetable pizza hot with ketchup.
