Soyabean Cutlet

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 kg Soyabean chunks
  • 3 nos Onion finely chopped, medium
  • 2 small Ginger finely chopped
  • 2 sprigs Curry leaves finely chopped
  • 3 nos Green chilies finely chopped
  • 2 nos Potato
  • 1 tbsp Fennel seeds powdered, Perum Jeerakam
  • 1 tbsp Black pepper powdered
  • 100 gms All purpose flour Maida
  • Oil As reqd
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Soak soyabean chunks for one hour in water. Drain the water and press dry. Crush in a mixer and keep aside.
  • Cook the potatoes in a pressure cooker and mash them.
  • Take a frying pan and pour oil. Heat the oil and add chopped onions, chopped ginger, green chillies and curry leaves.
  • Stir in the crushed soyabean chunks and sautT for sometime. Add powdered fennel seeds and black pepper and keep stirring.
  • Add the mashed potato and required salt. Mix and stir on low heat.
  • Make small cutlets with your palms and keep aside.
  • Take the maida in a bowl and add little water. Stir in low heat and make a paste.
  • Pour oil in a pan for frying the soyabean cutlets. Dip each soyabean cutlet in the maida paste and deep fry on both sides till golden brown in color.
  • Soyabean cutlet is ready and serve hot.
