Heat oil in a non stick saucepan and stir fry chopped ginger, chopped green chillies, grated crab (meat or stick) for a few minutes.
Add garam masala , chilly powder and salt accordingly.
Remove from pan and place in a bowl.
To that, add potatoes that has been cooked and mashed, chopped coriander, chaat masala, lemon juice and season accordingly.
Shape them into patties, and in the centre of each patty you can add some pomegranate seeds.
Coat each patty first with beaten egg then with breadcrumbs.
:- May be repeated for a crispier coating like shown in picture 2.
Shallow fry it in hot oil till golden brown like shown in picture 3.
:- Serve with fruit chutney!!
