Ingredients
  

  • 8 - Bread slices
  • 4 cups Milk
  • Cardamom(Elakka) powder
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • Ghee
  • Cashewnuts
  • Almonds
  • Raisins(Kismis)
  • Silver paper

Instructions
 

  • Cut the bread slices into 6 pieces.
  • Fry them in ghee in a pan with ghee evenly on both sides of the pieces and fry till golden brown & stiff. Keep it aside.
  • Boil the milk & add the cardamom powder & reduce milk to 1/4 which will take 15 minutes stirring it to make it thick.
  • Add the sugar.
  • :- It has to be very sweet.
  • Add the bread.
  • Fry nuts, raisins & badam(broken into pieces) in ghee & add it to the milk.
  • When its cool, refrigerate it.
  • Garnish it with silver paper & almonds or pistachios.
