Ingredients
  

  • 2 tsp Red gram Thuvaraparippu
  • 2 tsp Black gram Uzhunnuparippu
  • 2 tsp Coriander seeds
  • 2 tsp Channa dhal Kadalaparippu
  • 1 tsp Rice
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • 1 tsp Pepper seeds
  • 1 no Onion sliced long, small
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 big Tamarind Puli
  • Curry leaves A few
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • Oil

Instructions
 

  • Fry the red gram, black gram, coriander seeds, channa dhal, rice, pepper seeds and cumin seeds.
  • Grind the fried ingredients and add red chilli powder during grinding.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Splutter mustard, black gram and channa dhal.
  • After it pops, put sliced onion and curry leaves.
  • Pour the ground powder.
  • Add tamarind water, turmeric powder, salt and cook for 10 to 20 mins.
  • :- We can add vegetables like brinjal and drumsticks (optional).
