Chicken Curry In Coconut Milk

This is a special chicken curry,in this chilly powder is used for tadka only.

Ingredients
  

  • 20 to Onions small
  • 2 nos Garlic
  • 1 piece Ginger small
  • 1 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp Chilly powder
  • 2 tsp Garam masala
  • 4 cups Coconut thick milk
  • Coconut pieces A little
  • 4 or Red chilly
  • Mustard seeds A littile
  • 750 gms Chicken
  • Curry leaves As rqrd
  • Salt to taste.
  • 4 nos Green chilly
  • Coriander leaves optional

Instructions
 

  • Saute small onion ,when it get littile brown
  • Add garlic and ginger,green chilly.
  • Saute again and add turmeric and coriander powder and garam masala.
  • Add chicken to it along with coconut thin milk.
  • Cook for 30 mins in a low flame.
  • After the chicken is cooked properly add thick coconut milk and salt.
  • Heat few oil in a small tava for making tadka.
  • Add mustard ,curry leaves ,coconut pieces ,red chilly.
  • Switch off the flame and add chilly powder .
  • Add this tadka to the chicken.
