American Brownies

Soft chocolate brownies with creamy frosting

Ingredients
  

For brownies:-

  • 1/2 cup Butter melted
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 nos Eggs
  • All unsifted) - 1/2 cu
  • 1/3 cup Good quality cocoa
  • 1/4 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Nuts optional, chopped

For creamy frosting:-

  • 3 tbsp Butter, softened
  • 3 tbsp Good quality cocoa
  • 1 tbsp Light corn syrup or honey
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 cup Confectioners sugar
  • 1 - Milk

Instructions
 

  • For making brownies:-
  • Blend butter, sugar, and vanilla in large bowl.
  • Add eggs and using a wooden spoon, beat well.
  • Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt; gradually blend into egg mixture.
  • Stir in nuts.
  • Spread in greased 9 inch square pan.
  • Bake at 350 degree farenheit for 20 to 25 minutes or until brownie begins to pull away from edges of pan.
  • For making frosting:- 7)Cream butter, cocoa, corn syrup and vanilla in small mixer bowl.
  • Add confectioners sugar and milk; beat to spreading consistency.
  • :- Makes about 1 cup frosting.
  • Spread it over the brownies as soons they come out of the oven.
  • Cool it completely.
  • Cut into square pieces and store in air tight container.
