Coconut - Mango Chutney

Tasty coconut chutney with mango

Ingredients
  

  • 1 no Coconut
  • 3 nos Mango
  • 10 nos Green chillies
  • 2 tbsp Red chilly powder
  • 2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 10 nos Garlic pods
  • Curry leaves A fistful
  • 2 tbsp Ginger finely chopped
  • Salt As reqd
  • 5 tbsp Refined oil
  • 2 tab.sp Sesame optional, white

Instructions
 

  • Peel and grate the mangoes and grate the coconut.
  • Cut the green chillies into pieces.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan and boil.
  • Add green chilly pieces, red chilly powder, ginger and the grated coconut, grated mango and salt and fry well.
  • After the fried ingredients are cooled, grind into smooth chutney.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan.
  • Splutter mustard seeds, garlic and the curry leaves.
  • Add this to the chutney and mix thoroughly.
  • * Grind the level 4 ingredients with out frying if it suits your taste. To this add the level 7 ingredients.
  • * Some people like white sesame seeds to be used. Then, add the sesame seeds to the 4 level ingredients and grind.
