Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm Yoghurt
  • 1 no Shallot chopped, Kunjulli
  • 1 no Green chilly chopped, big
  • 10 nos Curry leaves chopped
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • 1 tsp Black gram Uzhunnuparippu
  • Asafoetida A pinch, Kayam
  • Turmeric powder A pinch
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 tbsp Oil

Instructions
 

  • Whisk yogurt with a glass of water.
  • Add salt in it.
  • Heat oil in a saucepan.
  • Splutter the cumin seeds, mustard seeds and black gram.
  • Add the chopped shallots with chilly and curry leaves.
  • Add pinch of turmeric and asafoetida and stir.
  • Take it off the stove and put this into the yoghurt.
  • :- Serve with steamed rice.
