Pacha Thakkali Ulli Thoran

Ingredients
  

  • 4 nos Green tomato Pacha thakkali
  • 1 cup Small onions Kunjulli
  • 1/4 of Coconut
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 4 nos Gren chillies
  • 3 tbsp Coconut oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • Salt As reqd
  • Curry leaves Few

Instructions
 

  • For preparing Pacha Thakkali Ulli Thoran, finely chop the tomatoes, green chillies and small onions.
  • Mix together the above with grated coconut, turmeric powder and salt.
  • Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • Splutter mustard seeds and saute dry red chillies and curry leaves.
  • Add the tomato-coconut mixture and mix well.
  • Cover and cook on a low flame.
  • When it gets cooked, remove the lid and continue to cook, till done.
  • Pacha Thakkali Ulli Thoran is ready.
