Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Semolina Sooji/Rava
  • 1/2 cup Ghee
  • 1/2 litre Milk
  • 1 kg Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Color yellow
  • 100 g Raisins Onakkamunthiri
  • 10 nos Cardamom powdered, Elakka
  • 100 g White sugar crystals Kalkkandam

Instructions
 

  • For preparing Kerala Simple Rava Kesari, first fry rava and ghee till it become crisp and slight brown.
  • Once done, add milk and sugar and mix well in low flame till all the milk gets evaporated.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients to it and and spread it on a buttered plate in 1/2 inch thick.
  • Once the mixture cools down, cut the mix in small diamond shapes.
  • Decorate each Kerala Simple Rava Kesari piece with a cashew nut.
