Take beaten rice in a sieve and wet it under running water.
Keep it aside to drain out excess water for a minute.
Add chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt into it and mix well.
Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
Add peanuts and fry for a min.
Add onion and potatoes and saute well for 2 mins on a medium flame.
Add chopped green chillies and cumin seeds.
Saute and cook the potatoes.
Add the beaten rice and lemon juice.
Saute well on a low flame.
Switch off the flame before it starts sticking to the pan.
Add sugar and saute once.
Garnish with chopped coriander, crushed papad and namkeen.
