Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Dal Parippu
  • 1/2 of Onion chopped
  • 1 no Tomato chopped
  • 4 nos Green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tbsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • Coriander leaves A little
  • half piece onion for frying

Instructions
 

  • In a pressure cooker, put dal, onion, tomato, green chillies, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, salt and cook, till the dal is done.
  • Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • Splutter mustard seeds followed by cumin seeds.then fry onion.
  • Add the above seasoning into the cooked dal.
  • Add coriander leaves and mix dal curry well.
  • :- Dal Curry goes very well with tandoor roti and chappathi.
