Sandwich Chutney

A green chutney with ginger and garlic makes this alive with flavour

Ingredients
  

For Chutney:-

  • 1 bunch Mint leaves cleaned and chopped, Pudhina
  • 1 bunch Coriander leaves cleaned and chopped
  • 3/4 cup Grated coconut
  • 2 one Ginger
  • 2 - Garlic pods
  • 1 no Green chilly
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1/4 tsp Sugar

For Sandwich:-

  • Bread slices As reqd
  • Butter(optional)
  • Tomato slices As reqd
  • Cucumber slices As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Grind together the chutney ingredients and use just enough water to make a smooth paste.
  • Add sugar and adjust the salt.
  • Take a slice of bread and smear the chutney generously.
  • Place it down with green side up and layer with tomatoes and cucumbers.
  • Apply butter (optional) to the other slice and press down on the vegetables.
  • Repeat with the remaining bread.
  • Cut horizontally.
  • :- Chill and serve or eat it just like that.
