Dal Tadka Easy

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Green gram Cheruparippu
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 2 - Garlic pods
  • 2 nos Green chillies chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • 1 pinch Turmeric powder
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Pressure cook dal with salt to taste.
  • Cut ginger and and garlic into thin juliennes (strips).
  • Heat ghee in a pan.
  • Splutter jeera.
  • Add garlic, ginger and green chillies.
  • Add turmeric powder.
  • Add the cooked dal and boil.
  • :- Serve hot with chappathis.
