Instructions
Boil the potatoes, till they become tender and cut them into medium sized pieces.
Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
Splutter mustard seeds.
Add cumin seeds, asafoetida and curry leaves.
Add chopped onion and fry, till they turn golden brown.
Add tomato puree, chilly powder, turmeric powder and saute for 1 min.
Add potatoes and salt.
Mix well.
Add garam masala powder and mix well again.
