Manga Perukku

A tangy kichadi made with mangoes, curd and coconut- Ramya V

Ingredients
  

  • 1 no Mango yellow, but not fully ripe
  • 1/2 cup Curd
  • 3 tbsp Coconut
  • 2 nos Green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • Salt As reqd

For seasoning:-

  • 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 2 nos Dry red chillies Kollamulaku
  • 1 sprig Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp Oil

Instructions
 

  • Grind together coconut, mustard and green chillies.
  • Mix together grated mango, curd and coconut paste.
  • Add salt and mix well.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add dry red chilly and curry leaves and saute for a second.
  • Add the above seasoning into the curry.
