Beef With Spring Onion Fried

A twist to Kerala style Beef Fry

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Beef
  • 2 nos Onions finely sliced, big
  • 5 tbsp Vegetable/Corn Oil
  • 1 stalk Curry leaves
  • Turmeric powder A pinch
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger paste
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp Soya sauce
  • Spring onion finely chopped
  • Salt As reqd

For marinating:-

  • 1 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Chilly powder
  • 3/4 tsp Ginger paste
  • 1 tsp Garlic paste
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Cut beef into small pieces.
  • Mix together the ingredients for marinating the beef, along with water to form a paste.
  • Apply it onto the beef pieces and marinate for 30 mins.
  • Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a pan.
  • Fry the marinated beef, till beef is almost done. Keep this aside.
  • Heat a little oil in a pan.
  • Saute onions, till they turn golden brown.
  • Add pepper powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder, curry leaves and ginger and garlic paste.
  • Saute for 2 mins.
  • Add the fried beef and cook, till beef is done.
  • :- Do not add water.
  • Add spring onions and soya sauce.
  • Mix well and cook for 3 - 4 mins.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • :- Serve hot with indian breads or rice.
