Fenugreek Thepla

Rotis made with wheat flour and fenugreek(methi/uluva) leaves

Ingredients
  

  • 150 gm Wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp Gram flour Kadalapodi
  • 1/2 cup Fenugreek leaves finely chopped, Uluva
  • 2 nos Green chillies
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1/4 tsp Thymol seeds Ajwain/Vaum
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp Curd
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Mix together all the ingredients except for oil for frying.
  • Add water little by little and knead them well to make a little hard dough.
  • :- It should not be very hard.
  • Roll them out into chappathis.
  • Fry on griddle, on a low fire, till little brown.
  • Apply oil on both sides and remove from fire, when they become slightly brown on both sides.
