Beef Pepper Fry

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Beef
  • 3 tsp Chilly powder
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Masala powder
  • 1 tbsp Pepper Corns/Pepper powder Pepper corns freshly ground if available.
  • 50 g Ginger Chopped
  • 5 nos Green chillies Sliced
  • 10 nos. Shallots Crushed
  • 2 nos. Onion Chopped
  • 1/4 cup Coconut (Thenga kothu) sliced
  • As reqd Oil
  • Curry leaves Few
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Cut the beef into small pieces and wash well.
  • Mix meat with ginger, crushed shallots, green chillies, curry leaves, chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and required salt.
  • Pressure cook the meat for 15 mins or till almost done. Do not overcook.
  • Reduce the flame and cook, till it becomes dry.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Fry coconut pieces and keep aside.
  • In the same oil, add chopped onions and saute, until they turn brown.
  • Add cooked meat and saute for 10 mins.
  • Add coconut chips and saute again for 10 mins.
  • Add pepper powder and some curry leaves and saute for 5 mins.
