Cut the beef into small pieces and wash well.
Mix meat with ginger, crushed shallots, green chillies, curry leaves, chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and required salt.
Pressure cook the meat for 15 mins or till almost done. Do not overcook.
Reduce the flame and cook, till it becomes dry.
Heat oil in a pan. Fry coconut pieces and keep aside.
In the same oil, add chopped onions and saute, until they turn brown.
Add cooked meat and saute for 10 mins.
Add coconut chips and saute again for 10 mins.
Add pepper powder and some curry leaves and saute for 5 mins.
