Cook the red gram or dal in a pressure cooker, upto 3 whistles.
After opening the lid, add ginger paste, garlic paste, green chillies, turmeric powder, tomatoes, curry leaves and cumin seeds.
Allow it to boil.
Add salt and yoghurt and boil again.
Add a tsp of olive oil or ghee.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
:- Serve with fried fish or any other vegetable dish.
:- You need not season this dal.
:- If you want it`s consistency to be dilute, add more water, before adding salt and yoghurt.
