Bachelor Spinach Daal

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Red gram Thuvaraparippu
  • 1 pack Spinach Paalak
  • 4 nos Green chillies slit lengthwise
  • 2 - Garlic pods
  • 1 no Tomato chopped
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • Oil

Instructions
 

  • Pressure cook red gram, spinach, green chillies, garlic and tomato, till the dal is cooked.
  • :- You get pre-washed spinach in any US grocery store. You don`t even have to chop the spinach. Just tear it down with your hand easily.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add mustard seeds and allow them to splutter.
  • Add the cooked ingredients and stir for a little while.
  • Add salt along with enough water.
