Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Chicken pieces
  • 300 gm Vermicelli Semiya
  • 3 nos Onions
  • 2 nos Tomatoes
  • Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
  • Curry leaves A few
  • 6 nos Cashewnuts
  • 1 tbsp Raisins Onakka munthiri
  • 2 nos Cloves Grambu
  • 2 nos Cardamom Elakka
  • 2 Bay leaves Vazhana/Karuga ela
  • 2 tbsp Soya sauce
  • 2 tbsp Green chillies
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp Garam masala powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 cup Oil

Instructions
 

  • Heat 2 tbsps of oil and fry the vermicelli till brown.
  • In another pan, heat 1/2 cup of oil and fry cashewnuts and raisins till brown. Remove from the pan.
  • In the same oil, fry the cloves, cardamoms, bay leaves, chopped green chillies and curry leaves.
  • Add the chopped onions and fry till brown.
  • Add the ginger - garlic paste and saute till brown.
  • Add the chicken pieces, tomatoes, garam masala, coriandar leaves and salt. Saute till chicken is fried.
  • Add the vermicelli and 1 cup of hot water. Boil till vermicelli is cooked and water evaporates.
  • Add the soya sauce, fried cashewnuts and raisins. Mix well.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • :- Serve hot.
