Heat 2 tbsps of oil and fry the vermicelli till brown.
In another pan, heat 1/2 cup of oil and fry cashewnuts and raisins till brown. Remove from the pan.
In the same oil, fry the cloves, cardamoms, bay leaves, chopped green chillies and curry leaves.
Add the chopped onions and fry till brown.
Add the ginger - garlic paste and saute till brown.
Add the chicken pieces, tomatoes, garam masala, coriandar leaves and salt. Saute till chicken is fried.
Add the vermicelli and 1 cup of hot water. Boil till vermicelli is cooked and water evaporates.
Add the soya sauce, fried cashewnuts and raisins. Mix well.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
