Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup Green gram dal Cherupayar parippu
  • 3 nos Green Chillies chopped
  • 2 tbsp Freshly grated coconut
  • Coriander leaves As reqd
  • Salt As reqd
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice
  • For seasoning:
  • 4 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • Curry leaves A few
  • Asafoetida A pinch, Kayam

Instructions
 

  • For preparing Bele Kosambari, first soak green gram dal in sufficient water for one hour and drain well.
  • Add grated coconut, finely cut chillies and coriander leaves.
  • Sprinkle salt and lemon juice. Mix well.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add the seasoning ingredients.
  • Pour it over the prepared Bele kosambari.
