Mixed Vegetable Oothappam

Ingredients
  

  • 4 nos Onion finely chopped
  • 1 no Carrot big
  • 2 nos Tomato
  • 1 no Capsicum big
  • 2 - Green chillies finely chopped
  • 1" piece Ginger finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves A few, finely chopped
  • Salt As reqd
  • 150 gm Butter or ghee

Instructions
 

  • Follow the method for preparing the batter for Oothappam from the recipe for preparing plain dosas. The only difference being the batter for Oothappam should be slightly thicker.
  • Finely chop all the vegetables.
  • Mix them together.
  • Heat dosa tava (griddle). Spread 1 big spoon of the batter onto the tava.
  • Sprinkle chopped vegetables on top and press slightly with the help of finger-tips.
  • Roast it from both sides with the help of butter or ghee on low flame.
  • :- Serve hot with Sambar and chutney. :- Makes 10-12 Uttapams
