Karupara Ada

Ada made of rice and lentils (Healthy Breakfast)

Ingredients
  

  • 2 strip Curry leaves
  • 2 pieces Green chillies
  • 1/4 cup Onion small
  • 1 tbsp Asafoetida powder Kaayam
  • 4 pieces Red chillies dried
  • Salt As rqrd
  • 2 cup Grain rice long
  • 1/2 cup Moong dal cheruparippu
  • 1/2 cup Toor dal thuvaraparippu
  • 1/2 cup Urad dal uzunnuparippu
  • Water for grinding the above items
  • Oil As rqrd

Instructions
 

  • Soak the grains and pulses for 4 hours or more.
  • Wash and grind them together with all the ingredients except oil. :-No need to ferment the batter.
  • Heat a pan and pour little oil
  • Pour batter and make it to a round shape with a spatula.
  • Cook both sides :-Serve with coconut chutney.
