Irumban Puli Curry | Kerala Style Bilimbi Curry

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Bilimbi Sliced
  • 3 Nos. Green chilly
  • 1 Tbsp Red chilly powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • As required Salt
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 Tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 Cup Coconut paste
  • Curry leaves

Instructions
 

  • Take a clay pot and add Bilimbi, green chilies, red chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt as required.
  • Add 2 cups of water and mix well.
  • Add curry leaves and cook till it turns into a thin consistency.
  • When it is well cooked pour the coconut paste. When it starts to boil, remove it from the flame.
  • Finally heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds and pour it into the curry.
  • Delicious and tangy flavored Irumban Puli curry is ready now.
