Clean chicken and cut into small pieces. Wash well and drain.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add ginger pieces and stir for couple of minutes. Then season onions until slight brown along with the garlic.
Now add the green chillies and stir for a minute or so. Now add curry leaves, chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and keep stirring. You need to let the mix fry a bit and let the aroma come.
Add the chicken pieces to the mix and add half a cup of water. Close the pan and cook it with occasional stirring. Gravy should be thick. Now you add the cinnamon powder, mix and ready to serve!
