Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a kadai.
Add whole red chillies followed by onion.
Saute till onions turn translucent and shiny.
Add chicken, turmeric powder, curry leaves and salt, stir well and cover it.
Reduce the flame and allow it to cook.
When it is half done, add cumin powder and pepper powder.
In between, sprinkle some water if needed and cover it.
When done, garnish with coriander leaves.
