Green Peas Masala

Green peas curry for chappathis

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Green peas cooked or one tin
  • Garlic ginger paste - 1 tsp
  • 1 no Onion
  • 1 no Tomato
  • Curry leaves A few
  • Coriander leaves A few
  • 2 nos Green chillies
  • 1 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 1 cup Thick coconut milk
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • Salt As reqd
  • Oil

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • Splutter mustard seeds.
  • Saute chopped onion till transparent.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste, tomato and green chillies.
  • Add all the powders and stir well.
  • Add green peas, curry leaves, coconut milk and salt. Let it boil.
  • When oil separates, remove from fire.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • :- Serve with chappathis.
