Wheat Iddiyappam Kichadi

This is very unique recipe. Usually we do Idiyappam in rice flour. But this recipe is prepared with wheat. Wheat have more fiber in it with which we are preparing khichdi here.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Wheat Iddiyappam
  • 1 chopped Onion
  • 1 chopped Tomato
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilly powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric
  • Mint coriander curry leaves little
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Green chilly 2

Instructions
 

  • Take hot water mix with salt and mix wheat flour make dough and use Iddiyappam presser and steam with ten mins now it's ready
  • In pan add oil and saute onion and green chilly
  • Now add ginger garlic paste and tomatoes saute well
  • Now add all powders and curry leaves, saute well
  • Now add mint and green leaves mix well with little water
  • When water is absorbed add wheat Iddiyappam and mix well
  • Now Wheat Iddiyappam Kichadi is ready to serve
