Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cup Masoor dal
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 Green chilly
  • Ginger small pc
  • 3 Garlic
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp Red chilly powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup Water
  • For Tempering
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seed
  • 3 Dry red chilly
  • 2 chopped Shallots
  • Curry leaves few

Instructions
 

  • Take a pressure cooker and add washed dal,chopped tomato,onion,green chilli,crushed ginger and garlic.pressure cook it for 1 whistle.
  • Take a pan heat oil and splutter mustard seed and add chopped shallots,when it turns to brown add dry red chilli and curry leaves,saute for 2 seconds and add into the cooked dal.
  • Tasty simple masoor dal fry is ready.
