Peerkangai Muttai Poriyal is an easy delicious poriyal prepared with peerkangai and egg. This is a great way to make your kids eat this veggie. They are quite lower in saturated fats as well as calories, hence, there is no limitation to your taste buds

Ridge Gourd 250 gm Egg 4 no. Small onion 1/2 cup Green chili 1 no. Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp Red chili powder 1 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp garam masala 1 tsp salt to taste oil 2 tbsp mustard 1/4 tsp curry leaves 1 sprinkle
chop the small onion and ridge gourd
In a pan heat the oil and temper the mustard curry leaves and saute the onion and green chili for 5 mins
add ginger garlic paste and mix well
Add red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt and turmeric powder and mix well
add chopped ridge gourd and mix it and allow to cook for 5 mins in medium flame
once the ridge gourd get cooked add egg mix it
stir continuously until egg and Ridge gourd get blend well
Now peerkangai muttai poriyal is ready to serve
