Tapioca Paratha

Tapioca Paratha is a stuffed flatbread, considered to be a healthy and fulfilled breakfast for all ages. It is a flaky and crispy flatbread filled with a spiced tapioca masala stuffed inside. Tapioca also called as Kappa is highly rich in fiber, good cholesterol which helps in improving HDL in your blood and also rich in proteins. The mashed tapioca is mixed with garama masala and other spices for stuffing and stuffed with roti dough and cooked in a tawa applying ghee or oil. Enjoy this healthy dish in your kitchen.

Ingredients
  

  • Wheat flour 1 cup
  • Tapioca 1 cup
  • chopped onion 1/2 no.
  • chopped green chili 1 no.
  • ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • red chili powder 1 tsp
  • garam masala 1 tsp
  • cumin seed powder 1/2 tsp
  • corn flour 4 tsp
  • maida 4 tsp
  • oil / ghee 4 tsp

Instructions
 

  • make a dough with wheat flour, salt and water
  • In a bowl add mashed tapioca, onion, green chili, salt, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin seed powder, corn flour and maida
  • mix it
  • take a small ball from dough and stuff the tapioca and cover it
  • roll it in thick flattered bread
  • heat the tawa and cook the stuffed tapioca paratha by applying oil or ghee
  • now tapioca paratha is ready to serve
